How we work

Payment

Listed services are paid securely online at booking through Stripe. Prices include a 3% card processing fee, so the price you see is the price you pay. After payment you're taken to our calendar to choose your appointment time. Variable, per-item, and custom jobs are quoted first, then sent a secure checkout for the exact amount.

Cancellations & reschedules

Plans change — just give us notice. Reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may be subject to a trip fee. Reach us by phone, text, or email to make a change.

If a job can't be completed

If we can't finish a job through no fault of yours — missing or damaged parts, the wrong item delivered, or access we couldn't reasonably anticipate — you're refunded for any work not performed. If something isn't right, contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right.

Pricing

Each service price covers the listed item(s) and a reserved assembly time window appropriate for that job. If a job runs well beyond that window due to unusual complexity, we'll discuss any additional time with you in advance — never a surprise.

IKEA & European flat-pack

IKEA and European flat-pack pieces use cam-lock and dowel construction with more parts and steps, so a 15% surcharge applies to those items.

Two-person jobs

Heavy, tall, or oversized items are marked "2-person" and priced to cover the second technician needed to assemble them safely.

Packaging & haul-away

Boxes, plastic, foam, and zip-ties are removed and recycled where possible on every job. Old-furniture or bulky haul-away beyond packaging is a separate add-on.

Anchoring & safety

Anti-tip wall anchoring is available per item and strongly recommended for tall furniture and kids' rooms.
